After protest, Da Vinci Code movie cancelled at Saint Francis College
On August 15, Feast of the Assumption, Saint Francis College in Brooklyn, New York was planning to show the blasphemous Da Vinci Code movie ... a film that insults Catholics.
Starting on August 10, TFP Student Action members protested by email and phone, pointing out the flagrant contradiction between the Catholic spirit of Saint Francis and The Da Vinci Code.
Catholic students formally requested the cancellation of the movie. Their protest was successful.
Christopher Gibbons, Director of Special Events, stated in an email dated August 14 that "St. Francis College will not be showing The Da Vinci Code Tuesday."
Please contact Saint Francis College to commend them for cancelingThe Da Vinci Code blasphemy on campus.
